Application Server is a platform that supports services from web publishing to enterprise-scale transaction processing. This platform also enables developers to deploy and manage applications based on JavaServer(TM) Pages (JSP(TM)), servlets, and Enterprise JavaBeans(TM) (EJB(TM)) technology. The Making Applications Highly Available Using GlassFish(TM) Application Server course covers the Developer, Cluster, and Enterprise profiles. Students learn to install and set up the High Availability Database (HADB). They also learn to configure, administer, and monitor HADB to ensure high availability of applications deployed on an Application Server. This course covers the various HADB concepts that range in complexity from introductory to advanced. The hands-on labs offered in this course are downloadable labs. Students can download the lab files and the student work book on to their systems and complete the exercises.
