This course teaches those involved in an organization's records management effort how to use Oracle Universal Records Manager to create file plans, understand the components of file plans, properly assign metadata while checking in records, and link records.

The course also focuses on administrative responsibilities for Oracle Universal Records Manager, including implementing the security model, implementing file plans, defining dispositions, configuring the RM system, auditing, and exporting/importing responsibilities.

Note: Day 1 of this class focuses on Records Manager end-user skills.

Learn to:
  • Access Records Manager, browse a file plan, check in and search for records.
  • Define standard content, record, and classified record actions.
  • Describe Oracle Content Server security components and how they are relate to the Records Manager system as well as configure additional security options in Records Manager.
  • Describe the file plan components and explain disposition schedules.
  • Configure Records Manager

A Live Virtual Class (LVC) is exclusively for registered students; unregistered individuals may not view an LVC at any time. Registered students must view the class from the country listed in the registration form. Unauthorized recording, copying, or transmission of LVC content may not be made.
