Services Procurement 8.8 to 9 Overview - RWC

This course will assist you in understanding the PeopleSoft Enterprise Services Procurement 9.0 application and the enhancements to the application since the 8.8 PeopleSoft release. The course will also provide you information and demonstrations for using the enhancements. The course describes the new fields on the Services Procurement Business Unit Definition page and how those fields affect other features and functions in the application. This includes accessing and using services reason codes that are used for negative actions, such as transactions that are denied, terminated, or withdrawn.

The course also provides you information about enhancements for reviewing and using time reporting. These enhancements include reviewing and creating Service Time/Progress templates, time reporting options and rules, entering proxy time, and defining shifts and shifts by service. New enhancements described in the course also include managing services users where you can assign combined service provider/coordinator roles, replace service and VMS service coordinators, and use the Services User Setup Wizard. Other application enhancements descriptions include managing expenses, creating and using alerts and performance surveys, and using the Managed Service Provider enhancement that assists you in managing requisitions from customers.
