Logistics inherently involves large amounts of data and moving that data from one system to another is an important part of an effective and collaborative supply chain. This course teaches you how to transport and transform data to integrate OTM with external systems. The required data can include information about locations, geography, service providers, rates, itineraries, as well as transactional data such as orders and shipment status. Much of this data comes from traditional ERP systems and WMS.

Note: Because you can integrate OTM with many software packages at many points, the concepts in this course are high level and not specific to one software package.

Note: This course is a mix of guided demonstrations and hands-on practices.

Learn to:
  • Export XML from the OTM database
  • Read and resolve common validation errors
  • Configure external system records for outbound XML
  • Import and export static data in CSV and DB.XML format

A Live Virtual Class (LVC) is exclusively for registered students; unregistered individuals may not view an LVC at any time. Registered students must view the class from the country listed in the registration form. Unauthorized recording, copying, or transmission of LVC content may not be made.
