Development Tools I/II Accelerated Rel 8.96

The first part of this course provides an understanding of basic application design and development. It consists of hands-on instruction on the critical components of designing forms and applications. Students will learn how to set up basic applications and add functionality using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Form Design Aid.

The second part of this course will focus on enhancing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications with advanced features from the development toolset. These features include system functions, simple error messages, business functions, table event rules, table I/O, and advanced event rule logic. Students learn techniques that they can use to ensure data integrity within their company, including methods for implementing transaction processing and facilitating multi-currency transactions.

Using several debugging techniques, students gain experience troubleshooting and correcting interactive application problems. Additionally, they learn about tools that they can use to integrate custom modifications into a new software release. Students also learn about performance engineering, including techniques and tools for evaluating and improving the performance of Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications.
