This seminar focuses on the new features of Oracle Data Guard introduced in Oracle Database 11g Release and Release 2. Database administrators and other technical professionals who are responsible for implementing and managing an Oracle Data Guard environment benefit by learning:
1. how to apply the new Data Guard features and functions.
2. how to describe the key technical and business benefits associated with the new capabilities of Oracle Data Guard.

Armed with this knowledge, Data Guard administrators develop an understanding of which features to implement and move towards adoption of these features with greater understanding and confidence.

Learn To:
  • Describe the key new capabilities in Data Guard Releases 11.1 and 11.2
  • Identify how these new features can be applied in their data center
  • Identify technical advantages and business benefits associated with these technologies
