The Oracle Database 11g: Administration Workshop II SSCD course is designed to teach you about the concepts and architecture that support backup and recovery of Oracle Database 11g. It explores the structural elements and demonstrates how to manage storage using disk groups. You will also learn how to configure all aspects of backup and recovery functionality, as well as how to prepare a database for backup, perform various types of backup, and monitor backup performance. This course also demonstrates using RMAN to maintain data integrity, using Automatic Diagnostic Recovery, Support Workbench, and health checks to diagnose and repair database problems, and optimizing a database. The Database Resource Manager, Scheduler, and globalization support are also covered.
