In this course, students learn how to accurately test the quality, performance and reliability of web applications and Oracle packaged applications with Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g’s Application Testing Suite. Students use the three Application Testing Suite modules (Oracle Functional Testing, Oracle Load Testing and Oracle Test Manager) to create and execute both functional and load tests to test and tune applications under load conditions. Depending on the interests that students express, students and instructors may choose to use any or none of the three optional lessons that describe ATS testing accelerators for web services, for E-Business Suite, and for Siebel applications.

This course is based on Application Testing Suite 9.1

  • The architecture and installation of Oracle Application Testing Suite
  • To accomplish testing of web-based applications and use of any of three testing accelerators
  • To automate load and performance testing of transactions
  • To organize and manage the overall test process
