Oracle University Self-Study CD Courses are a great accompaniment and reliable alternative to our inClass courses, and provide an excellent ongoing resource for reviewing key concepts and practicing skills.

This course describes the advanced administration concepts. Students are introduced to common deployment topologies of Oracle Application Server 10g to enable choosing the appropriate topology according to your business needs. To provide a stable and highly available environment that performs well, participants learn the concepts for high availability (HA) and scalability. Students also learn to configure various OracleAS components such as Web cache clusters, OC4J, and business intelligence components. Students deploy the various components and know the tools and techniques for monitoring and tuning the components. In addition, students learn about Web Cache, OracleAS Clusters, configure J2EE clustering, OC4J, and manage OracleAS in a CFC environment.
