Businesses have a strong requirement for native language support in application interfaces to improve the efficiency of their work. Applications can cross regional and language borders, when run on the Web. It was difficult to detect the user’s preferred language because the physical point of installation of an application is no longer the user’s PC. The browser language detection feature from Forms6i onwards, meets this requirement. A Web application that is installed in the US must support German if a user who is accessing this application prefers the user interface to be displayed in German.

TranslationHub is a translation tool that enables you to present customized user interfaces for Oracle9i Forms. The tool supports paper layout style reports in Oracle9i Reports. All Reports modules that have been upgraded from earlier Reports releases, prior to Reports9i, run with paper layouts.

This course “Oracle9i Forms: TranslationHub†covers how to create and deploy multilanguage Forms applications using Oracle9iAS Forms Services and the TranslationHub translation tool.
