Oracle9i Forms Developer: Use Data Structures Effectively - Online Course

This eStudy is aimed at Oracle Forms developers who wish to broaden their application building skills with the tool, enabling them to build enterprise-class Internet database applications. This course introduces you to the different data source types that you can use for data blocks and provides you with some guidelines for choosing the best data source for the job.

You will examine record groups, looking at them as constructs for storing structured data, and how they can be manipulated at run time. It also covers how you apply record groups in useful ways, such as for dynamic list items. Finally, you will review certain database object features introduced in Oracle, how you can use them in Oracle Form Builder and how these objects are displayed in the Object Navigator.
