This 5-day instructor-led course teaches students how to customize IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository to suit the service-oriented architecture (SOA) governance model within an organization. WebSphere Service Registry and Repository enables organizations to get the most business value from an SOA by facilitating the storage, access, and management of service metadata so that services can be easily selected, invoked, governed, and reused. Through a combination of instructor-led lectures and hands-on lab exercises, students learn how to customize and manage service metadata using WebSphere Service Registry and Repository. Topics include architecture of WebSphere Service Registry and Repository, managing service lifecycles and enforcing governance policies, and accessing service metadata from various client environments.
