This is the Self-Paced version of Classroom course Using SQL Replication (CE221) and Instructor-Led Online course Using SQL Replication - Instructor Led Online (3E221) and Web-based course Using SQL Replication (Web Based) (1E221). This is a self-paced online course and includes hands-on remote labs. The average amount of time to complete this course is 24 hours. Once you receive your access information, you will have 60 days to complete this course and its labs. Please do not make travel arrangements for this course. After you receive confirmation that you are enrolled, you will be sent further instructions to access audio, video and remote labs. This course is designed to provide you the ability to use DB2 SQL Replication to perform data replication activities between IBM relational database systems, and also between IBM relational database systems and other non-IBM relational systems. This course will also teach how to perform the IBM Replication operations to define, manage, and maintain data replication functions for DB2 for z/OS and DB2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows. Included are lectures and several intensive hands-on machine exercises with DB2 SQL Replication on Windows workstations using DB2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows. The self-paced format gives you the opportunity to complete the course at your convenience, at any location, and at your own pace. The course is available 24 hours a day, but lab system access is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You will have a total of 40 hours allocated to complete all of the lab exercises, so when you are not using the system, ensure that you log out to maximize ability to use the lab system. Once you have accessed the course, instructor help is available via the course forum Monday through Friday; questions will be responded to within 24 hours. |
