This is an online course. Please do not make travel arrangements for this course. After you receive confirmation that you are enrolled, you will be sent further instructions to access audio, video and remote labs.

This course is designed to introduce you to non-traditional ways of using DB2 for z/OS to work with native XML data.

You will query XML data stored in DB2 tables and create XML documents from traditional DB2 data. You will also access XML documents as though the documents were relational tables. This class can be taken by users or other personnel who only need to access XML data stored in DB2 tables. This course is the Instructor Led On Line (ILO) version of classroom course Query XML Data with DB2 9 for z/OS (CV120).

	Use XPATH to retrieve documents from an XML column Use SQL/XML retrieval, publishing, and shredding functions Use IBM Data Studio to understand how to build XML queries and queries that contain SQL/XML
