In this fast paced hands-on course, you will learn how to design, develop, and integrate intranet or internet (J2EE or Java 5 EE) relational database and XML based enterprise applications.

	Save and load data from relational databases by the latest Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) 3.x, Embedded SQL for Java (SQLJ), Java Stored Procedure (SP), Service Data Object (SDO), Entity EJB, and Hibernate framework with WebSphere Application Server v6.x and DB2 v9.
	Parse, generate, and modify XML by DOM, SAX, and JAXB. Transforming XML to HTML by XSL.
	Integrate relational data with XML data by SDO, XQuery, and SQL/XML through JDBC extension in DB2 v9.
	Design relational database and XML with UML and design patterns.
	Utilize IBM Enterprise Patterns and WebSphere Platform Messaging Patterns best practices to integrate the back-end system (relational database and messaging system) with front-end (rich GUI client or web client) by UML, Entity EJB, MDB, SDO, JSF, JACL, JMS under Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).
	Utilize JSP, JSF, Swing, and AJAX to display both relational and XML data.
	Design, develop, and test J2EE or Java 5 EE relational database and XML based application using IBM Rational Application Developer (IRAD) 7.x/6.x, Rational Software Architect (RSA) v7.x/v6.x, DB2 v9, and WebSphere Application Server (WAS) v6.x.
