This course introduces the basics of Object-Oriented (OO) development using the Unified Modeling Language version 2.x (UML 2). Students are introduced to concepts such as abstraction, polymorphism, and encapsulation and learn how these concepts are the foundation of OO software development. Students learn how to build software using classes and objects and explore the use of some of the basic elements of UML.
