This three day instructor-led class provides GSS consultants and Channel Partners with the knowledge to support the Hitachi Storage Cluster Solution for MicrosoftÂ® Windows ServerÂ® 2003 and 2008. The course identifies functions that increase the effectiveness and stability of Hitachi TrueCopyÂ® Remote Replication software and Hitachi Universal Replicator software data replication in the event of node failover, and how the solution manages the recovery process.

This course also demonstrates best practice procedures using TrueCopy software to recover an entire storage cluster from an incidental failure.

Configure Hitachi Storage Cluster in a Windows Server 2003 or 2008 environment
Install and configure either a Microsoft DTC in a Windows Server 2003 environment or a Hyper-V virtual guest machine in a Windows Server 2008 environment
Use best practices in recovery procedures supported by Hitachi Remote Replication software to recover a storage cluster from failure
