This four day instructor-led course provides detailed procedures for installation and maintenance of the Hitachi High-performance NAS Platform, powered by BlueArcÂ® and will focus on the aspects of the High-performance NAS Platform which comprises the majority of operation and service needs. There are extensive hands-on lab sessions to acquaint the learner with both the equipment and function of the High-performance NAS Platform. Learners will gain experience with initial installation of the system and common maintenance tasks such as replacing Field Replaceable Units (FRU), and executing firmware upgrade on all Highperformance NAS modules.

Describe the concepts of High-performance NAS Platform and differentiate it from other NAS implementations
Identify the physical and logical architecture of the Highperformance NAS Platform
Attach the High-performance NAS Platform to a Hitachi Data Systems storage system

Configure the High-performance NAS Platform and Hitachi Data Systems storage hardware and software
Identify the functionalities of the High-performance NAS file system, perform preventative maintenance and execute effective troubleshooting
