This five day instructor-led course provides technical familiarity on Hitachi Data Systems replication products and mainframe environment strategy.
In this course, the learner gets an understanding of how replication works on the Hitachi Data Systems’ enterprise systems available mainframe replication software. It provides information on how to manage Hitachi mainframe replication software in Two Data Center and Three Data Center environments. The course also emphasizes
configuration planning, setup, and performance with a primary focus on In-system (Hitachi ShadowImage® Heterogeneous Replication Software for IBM® z/OS®) and Remote replication (Hitachi TrueCopy® Remote Replication software for IBM z/OS) software products. |
 | In lab activities, learners will apply replication concepts using Hitachi Storage Navigator program, IBM Peer to Peer Remote Copy (PPRC) and Hitachi Business Continuity Manager software. | |
Concepts and practices covered in the course apply to Hitachi Universal Storage Platformâ„¢ V and VM storage systems, Hitachi Universal Storage Platform, Hitachi Network Storage Controller and Hitachi Lightning 9900â„¢ V Series enterprise storage systems. |
