This two day instructor-led course provides information on in-system replication fundamentals and key tasks necessary to implement in-system replication on Hitachi enterprise storage systems. It also covers specifications, operations, and troubleshooting of Hitachi in-system replication software. The classroom sessions are supported by lab exercises involving installation, configuration and implementation of in-system replication software running on a specific Hitachi enterprise storage system.

Describe the key features, commands, and operations of Hitachi Copy-on-Write Snapshot software
Identify the steps to install and configure Copy-on-Write Snapshot software
Identify Hitachi Universal Storage Platformâ„¢ V and VM requirements and changes to the in-system replication
Describe the ShadowImage Heterogeneous Replication software and Copy-on-Write software troubleshooting scenarios, and corrective actions
Describe the key features, commands, and operations of Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Services

This training requires a pre-requisite knowledge of Universal Storage Platform, Network Storage Controller, and Hitachi Lightning 9900â„¢ V Series enterprise storage system. Either one of the following is recommended:

CSI1560 â€“ Hitachi Enterprise Storage Fundamentals or

TSI1315 â€“ Hitachi Enterprise Storage Software
