Through a combination of lecture and hands-on labs, you will learn to configure the Nexus 5000, Nexus 2000, FCoE, a VMware infrastructure, and the Nexus 1000V, and you will demonstrate policy mobility during virtual machine (VM) migration.

When deployed together, the Nexus 5x00 and Nexus 1000V enable simple policy-based deployment of virtual machines with coordinated configuration of LAN and SAN access. You'll use the Nexus 5K version 5.0(2)N2(1) in class, allowing you to see how products' individual values increase when combined.

To participate in this course and access the remote labs, you are required to bring a laptop running Windows 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, or Vista, and including Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. Also, the ability to install new ActiveX components may be required.
